Notice of Motion for Role of Committees & Representatives Policy
The Board of Education is considering changes to their board governance policy on the role of committees and representatives. A notice of motion was issued at the October 15, 2024 public board meeting requesting that feedback be sent to the policy review committee through the superintendent's office (natalie.crawshaw@sd72.bc.ca) before October 31. The board will be considering all feedback and the motion at the November 5, 2024 public board meeting.
The changes are to include reference to the board's governance committee, minor changes to the terms of reference for the audit and risk management committee, and the addition of terms of reference for the board's governance committee.
